CRAZY COUPON-ING

My friend Liza is on her way to becoming rich by collecting coupons!  Today I got to experienced first hand!

First we went to Rite Aid where I wanted to stock up on my favorite eyeliner that I use on clients. 

This eyeliner runs from $9.95-$12.95 depending on the store. 

 At Rite Aid it is $10.95 but I paid $5.00 each!

Here is how:  All Physicians Formula products are "buy one get one free" at the moment so I got two for $10.95 which means it was only $5.50 each. That was the store discount so then I puled out the manufacturer's discount and saved $1.00. So I paid $10.00 for one and got one free. 

WAH-LAH! 

$5.00 dollars each! Spent $43.80 before tax but paid $19.90. 

Saved $23.90 or 55%

Next we went to Walmart

Liza bought 2 bottles of shampoo, 2 bottles of conditioner, and 8 Nivea chap sticks.

We used a lot of coupons so I'm not going to go into too many details.

Total before coupons: $37.91

We paid: $11.70

Saved $26.21 or 70%
